The Blair Area Community Foundation is a non-profit, public benefit 501(c)(3) corporation structured to facilitate individual and corporate donors to make philanthropic gifts to any recognized, tax-exempt organization.  The distribution of these gifts should enrich the community and support the values of the families that live in Washington County, Nebraska.

The Blair Area Community Foundation seeks to support donors and charitable organizations by…

WHY CREATE A COMMUNITY FOUNDATION?

Washington County is blessed with many fine non-profit organizations, some of which are highlighted in our Wish List.  A community foundation, however, is a non-proprietary, all-inclusive, non-profit organization ready to serve any charitable need.  As such, it is flexible and able to adapt to the changes that a community experiences.
