Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church offers an evening Youth Group program is for all Senior High students.
It is held primarily on Sunday evenings during the school year. We do a combination of faith,
servant, and fellowship events. All Fort Calhoun youth are welcome.

Car Wash
We will have a car wash in the Team Bank parking lot as a mission trip
fundraiser. Please arrive by 9:30 am to set up. We will wash cars from
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please bring old towels that we can use to dry off
cars.
THURSDAY, June 5, 2008
BBQ Fundraiser
We will host a BBQ Fundraiser for the mission trip in the church's backyard
for our congregation, Vacation Bible School families before the evening VBS
program, and anyone else who would enjoy a tasty meal. Please arrive at
5:00 pm. We will serve food from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and clean up after that.
We need volunteers to set up tables and chairs, serve, clean up, and put away
everything. Each person going on the mission trip is asked to provide
one batch of dessert, like a dozen cupcakes, a pan of brownies or bars, a cake, or
a batch of cookies.

3rd Mission Trip Payment Due
The third mission trip payment of $100 (minus
fundraising credits) is due to Cathy Carlson by today. Cathy will e-mail
individual fundraising recaps to each mission trip person on June 6, after the
BBQ fundraiser.
June 8-14, 2008
Garage Sale
The Mission Trip Garage Sale fundraiser will be Friday, June 13 (9:00 am to
6:00 pm) and Saturday,
June 14 (8:00 am to 2:00 pm). We need people to help sort and price the items as they come in
the week before the sale, beginning June 8. On the sale dates we will need people to set up before-hand each morning, work
during the sale, take things in each evening, and deliver unsold items to a
thrift store. I'd be especially grateful for help in the week prior to the
sale! Mission trip credit will be earned based on the number of hours you
actively help throughout the week (June 8-14). There is a lot of work to
be done and it doesn't all happen on the sale date, so regardless of your other
schedule obligations, I'm sure we can find dates and times when you can help
with this event.

fundraiser.
