FAITH VILLAGE SUNDAY SCHOOL
|
| Summer ADULT CLASS: Current News
Discussion and Study This
class is going to discuss current issues happening in the world.
Each week you can get an email with the topic and news story so that
you can be prepared or just come on Sunday and see how faith can help us
deal with what we see on the evening news week in and week out.

| SENIOR HIGH: The Senior High students have chosen to join the adult classes. Students can attend whichever adult class sounds most interesting to them. They are also asked to sign up to help with the preschool - 6th grade Faith Village classes on a rotating basis. | |
| JUNIOR HIGH: The Junior High has an ongoing class on Sunday mornings that meets in the youth room upstairs in the Education Building. They are also asked to sign up to help with the preschool - 6th grade Faith Village classes on a rotating basis. | |
| PRESCHOOL - 6TH GRADE: The elementary program is based on the Workshop Rotation Model for Sunday Schools. Children rotate to through various workshops over a 3 or 4-week period, learning the same story via different learning mediums. This is a more interactive learning experience, reinforcing the lesson over multiple weeks through different means such as drama, art, and games; teaching Bible stories in memorable ways. This group meets in the basement of the Education Building. | |
| NURSERY: Loving nursery care is provided during 9:30 am Faith Village and the 10:30 am worship service for infants through age 3 on the top floor of the Education Building. |
Please join in our mission to connect our church community by studying God's word as we continue to grow in our faith and walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Confirmation is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the faith and life of a disciple of Christ. This encounter starts in 7th grade and lasts for two years. Why two years? Because it is impossible to talk about God, the Bible, and faith issues in six weeks or even one year. The content of the curriculum rotates each year, so over the two years they will receive the complete Confirmation instruction. During one year the group looks at the six marks of discipleship. The alternate year they look at scripture and study God's journey with us. Instruction includes class work and projects throughout the year that helps strengthen their understanding of what was discussed each week.
Each young person, when finished, chooses to begin this faith journey and reaffirm their baptismal vows or is baptized and affirms their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. For additional information visit the Confirmation page. If you have questions, please contact Cheryl Miller.
