WHAT ARE E-BOOKS?

What do you need to access e-books?

lnetLibrary is a collection  of thousands of electronic reference books called eBooks. lSince eBooks are online, they’re available at your convenience—anywhere, anytime and FREE to all Rock County residents. Books may be browsed for content or checked out just like a regular book.
l
lBrowsing allows you to view the full text of a book without checking out the book.  If you do not actively use the book, it will be returned to the “shelf” so that it may be used by other patrons. lA book can be checked out for 4 hours.  You do not have the option of renewing the book, however, after it has been checked in , a patron may immediately check it out again.
l1. Set up a netLibrary account at the Rock County Public Library.

l2. A computer with Internet access and a web browser with either Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 and above or Netscape Navigator version 4.76 or above.

l3. You must remain connected to the Internet while you read a book.

l4.  After you have an account set up, log on to netLibrary at http://www.netlibrary.com/

Stop by your Library today for more information or help with getting started to experience one more way to explore, to learn, to discover!
