Cub Scout Pack 143 of Blair, Nebraska welcomes all first grade through fifth grade boys. We do all kinds of activities like:

  • Family Camping,
  • Day Camps,
  • Field Trips,
  • Good Turns,
  • Space Derby,
  • Pinewood Derby,
  • Rain Gutter Regatta, and
  • Lots More.

  • Most boys meet every other week with their den (a small group of 5 to 11 boys). Once every third Tuesday of month the whole pack meets.     Cub Scouting Has Nine Purposes
    1 To positively influence character development and encourage spiritual growth 6 To foster a sense of personal achievement by helping boys develop new interests and skills
    2 To help boys develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship 7 To show boys how to be helpful and do one's best
    3 To encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body 8 To provide fun and exciting new things to do
    4 To improve understanding within the family 9 To prepare boys to become Boy Scouts
    5 To strengthen boys' abilities to get along with other boys and to respect other people
