MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Meetings are at noon every Tuesday at Fernando's Restaurant in Blair.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons who provide
humanitarian service and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations.
There are over 1,200,000 Rotarians in the world representing 164 countries.
The Blair Rotary Club was chartered in 1936 and is one of 48 clubs in District
5650 (western Iowa and eastern Nebraska).
Rotary's four avenues of service are:
Club Service
Community Service
Vocational Service
International Service
Persons 18 years or older can be considered for membership. Membership is for
the Blair Club, Rotary District 5650 and Rotary International.
Membership classifications are:
Active and Honorary Members.
Blair Rotary Club Dues:
$90.00 per quarter, this covers lunch each week, District and International Dues
and a monthly subscription to The Rotarian Magazine.
Weekly Meetings:
At each weekly meeting a program is provided by the club membership. Meetings
are one hour in length.
Regular attendance is expected of all members.
Club Assemblies are quarterly meetings where club issues and business are discussed.
