How do I stop SPAM from coming to
me?
The best
way (in some cases, the only way) to stop SPAM from getting to your
inbox is to purchase or sign up for some type of junk mail filtering
service. We offer the eShield message filtering service to our
customers.
Another
option would be to not buy, sell, or do online business with any company
that asks you to give them your email address. This will cut down on
the amount of junk mail you receive; however, it can also severely limit
your ability to take advantage of the many business services offered via
the Internet.
You can
also use the “unsubscribe” links provided with many SPAM messages.
However, we don’t recommend this method because not all spammers honor
these requests, or some will honor your request but still sell your
email address to other spammers. In most cases, you have no way of knowing
which spammers are honorable and which are not.
