Have
you ever wanted to reduce your connection time?
You
can set up Outlook Express to automatically disconnect you after sending
and receiving your e-mail. This also can be used in the opposite
way, you may want to stay connected the entire time you are using
checking your e-mail.
You
can use this procedure to automatically disconnect you after sending and
receiving, which you can then read and compose messages offline without
incurring charges or tying up a phone line:
-
On
the TOOLS menu, choose OPTIONS (Figure
1)
-
Choose
the Connections tab from the top of the screen (Figure
2)
-
If
you want it to automatically disconnect you every time, put a
check in the box beside Hang up after sending and receiving,
otherwise take it out.
