When you open your browser,
whether it be Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, it always opens a page to
start with called the Home Page. If you would want to change it to the page of your
choice, there are a few simple steps to go through:
For Internet Explorer:

Open
Internet Explorer and select TOOLS, and choose INTERNET OPTIONS
from the menu bar.

Under
the HOME PAGE, where it asks for an address, type in the home page of
your choice. To set the page you are currently on to be your starting
web page select USE CURRENT (Figure
1).

Select
OK from the bottom, and to verify which page is going to come up when
you start your browser, choose the HOME button from the top of your
page.
For Netscape Communicator:

Open Netscape Communicator and
select EDIT and choose PREFERENCES from the menu bar.

Select NAVIGATOR on the
left under the choices of categories.

Over to the right where it asks
for a LOCATION, type in the web address of the page ou would like
Navigator to start with; otherwise choose USE CURRENT to set the page
you are on to be your home page (Figure
2).
