Almond Chocolate Chip Bread

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons margarine, softened
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 ¾ cups flour
¼ cup gluten flour
¾ cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon dry soy or rice milk powder
¾ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons yeast

1/3 cup almonds

Add all ingredients except almonds to the pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add the almonds at the beep signal or 5-10 minutes before the end of the last kneading cycle. Select the Basic White or Sweet cycle. Select the Medium or Light crust color. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on a wire rack. Makes one 1 ½-pound (12 slice) loaf.
