2/3 cup water 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon margarine, softened 1 cup bread flour 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon bread machine yeast
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Bake on whole wheat rapid cycle, light crust. When bread is done, remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Makes a 1 pound loaf.
