Maple Syrup Bread

1 cup plus 3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 cups unbleached white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon yeast

Add ingredients to bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select 2-pound loaf size. Select crust color. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.

* This does not have a strong maple flavor.
