I was born in Westford, Massachusetts in 1968. I lived a quiet life in suburban Boston and enjoyed such non-illustrious careers as steam presser, truckdriver and gas-jockey.

In 1997, thoroughly disenchanted with the rat race, I packed up my family and moved 1700 miles to a small, rural town in east central Nebraska. There have been many adjustments. For instance:

* Town is ten miles away

* The many joys of Cottonwood trees

* Learning to pronounce the letter 'R'

However, there are many good things about Nebraska and they definetely outweigh the bad:

* Town is ten miles away

* An addressing system of street and road names that enable you to find things

*The sky

*What Rush-Hour?
